Okay, for you picky people, I am a registered dietitian with a Master Degree in food and nutrition and a mission statement Party the Planet to the Next Level of Compassion.

I’m Marty, LaDiva’s slightly bookish BFF. I’m also a Registered Dietitian.
I specialize in eating challenges with teens and kids 0-3. I have worked on research studies focused on weight loss and impact on family dynamic as well as how to reverse type 2 diabetes. Clients reaching their goals is what gets me up in the morning.
We have 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason. It reminds me to listen first and most, and talk less. Good teachers must be good students first.
It appears that plant-based diets to have better outcomes, but be clear about what these study authors are saying about their data. There is a difference between “appears to help” and “absolutely this is what did it.”
